As a consultant and executive coach, Sheila is inspired by working with leaders in a range of companies and mission-driven institutions to take their leadership, and their organizations, to the next level. She brings twenty-five years of experience as a leader, a board member, a funder and an advocate to her coaching practice.

Sheila provides insights, challenge and accountability to help her clients achieve their aspirations and fulfil their potential. Through open questioning, direct communication and constructive challenge, she helps clients access their own wisdom. Career History

Executive Coach and Independent Consultant (2009-Present)
Sheila provides executive coaching to leaders from a wide range of organizations. She has coached in a national leadership development built on a performance development framework. She also develops and leads training workshops and offers facilitation and advisory services.

Federal Reserve Board of Governors (2005-2008)
Community Affairs Officer and Senior Advisor
Sheila led the community affairs function within the Board, including oversight of twelve Reserve Banks. She hired and led a team to identify needs in underserved markets and develop programs in response.

Fannie Mae Foundation
Managing Director, Policy and Leadership Development (2003-2005)
Sheila managed a portfolio of $3 million in grant and program funds, as well as the Foundation’s signature leadership programs, to advance public policy in support of increased investment in affordable housing. She created and managed a network of strategic partners in support of the Foundation’s work.

Office of Senator Edward M. Kennedy (1998-2001)
Senior Economic Counsel, Health, Labor and Pensions Committee
Sheila served as the Senator’ primary staff on economic development issues, including his work as a member of the Joint Economic Committee. She cultivated and maintained relationships with key economic constituencies in the state and in Washington, D.C.
